Online Geology Degree
"If you are living far from
universities it is possible to do an online geology degree."
Many people doubt how the practical side is possible, but I tell you now, I did one such degree, and it's all possible - you have online lectures, online exams, assignments, you even use an online petrographic microscope and join field trips online!
All that said, geology is a hands-on subject, so you still have to get out collecting rocks for assignments, and there are parts of an online degree, such as a project for example, which you likely have to do at your closest university (for me it was possible to organise but it should be in most cases).
Some online degrees also require that you do your exams at the actual university instead of online.
